The developed countries are keen to enhance the efficiency of their various sectors within their strategic orientations towards comprehensive development, and the sports sector stands out at the forefront of these sectors as a fundamental pillar in building people, developing communities and improving the quality of life. Based on this concept, this conference aims to highlight the growing role of sport in supporting National Development, Review pioneering experiences and discuss best practices that enhance the sports ecosystem and support future aspirations.

Recognizing the importance of comprehensive individual development, the kingdom of Saudi Arabia pays great attention to culture in general, and to sports culture in particular, as an essential part of daily life, and a pivotal element in promoting awareness, developing physical and mental skills, and consolidating positive behavioral values.

In the light of this vision, the first international conference on sports culture is being held: “culture of tourist and recreational sports” to be a periodic scientific platform that brings together specialists and experts and allows the exchange of experiences, ideas and specialized studies. The conference aims to contribute to enhancing community awareness of sports, supporting the cognitive and physical structure of the human being, and promoting sustainable development in the field of sports at the local and international levels.
